5 Reasons People Are Ditching Ordinary B Complex for Tri-Methyl+

Most B complexes use synthetic forms your body still has to convert. If you carry an MTHFR variant, that conversion may not happen efficiently — which is why so many people take a B complex for months and feel nothing. Tri-Methyl+ delivers both active forms of B12, methylfolate, and the full B spectrum in one capsule a day.

Why the switch

Five things ordinary B complex gets wrong

Each one is a step in the same chain. Miss any of them and the rest matter less.

01
The B12

Two active forms of B12. Most supplements give you one.

Open almost any B complex and you'll find cyanocobalamin — the cheapest form, and the one your body has to convert before it can do anything. Tri-Methyl+ uses methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin, the two forms that actually occur in the human body. Your cells use them as-is.

Methylcobalamin works in the bloodstream and nervous system. Adenosylcobalamin works inside the mitochondria, where energy is produced. Most "methyl" B complexes include only the first one.

Most "methyl" B complexes stop at methylcobalamin. The adenosyl form is the one that goes to work inside your mitochondria.

02
The folate

Methylfolate, not folic acid

Folic acid is synthetic. Before your body can use it, it has to be converted — and the MTHFR gene variant that makes that conversion inefficient is common enough that a lot of people are quietly taking a folate they can't fully use.

Tri-Methyl+ skips the step entirely with 5-MTHF, the active form of folate, paired with both active B12s. Together they support the methylation pathway — the process behind DNA repair, mood regulation, detoxification, and cellular energy.

A common MTHFR variant slows the middle step. Starting with 5-MTHF means there is no middle step to slow down.

It's the single most common reason customers tell us they came looking for us.

03
The dose

B6 as P-5-P — at a dose that makes sense

More is not better with B6. Plenty of products load up on it to make the label look impressive, and people sensitive to high amounts feel it.

We use Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate — the active coenzyme form — at a deliberately low, balanced dose. You get the benefit of B6 in the form your body uses directly, without the megadose. Every nutrient in the formula is there in ratio to the others, not in whatever amount looks best on a panel.

Vitamin B6 per serving
Many B complexes 50–100 mg
Tri-Methyl+ 10 mg, including P-5-P
A bigger number on the label isn't a better formula. Ratio between nutrients is what we optimised for — 10 mg is a maintenance dose, not a megadose.
04
The spectrum

The whole B family, plus choline. One capsule.

A methyl B12 on its own leaves gaps. Tri-Methyl+ covers the full spectrum — including choline for neurotransmitter synthesis and memory, and biotin for hair, skin, and nails — so you're not stacking three products to get complete coverage.

  • Methylcobalamin
  • Adenosylcobalamin
  • Methylfolate (5-MTHF)
  • B6 as P-5-P
  • Thiamine (B1)
  • Riboflavin (B2)
  • Niacin (B3)
  • Biotin (B7)
  • Choline

One capsule a day, taken with breakfast or alongside your multivitamin. That's the routine.

We took things out. Nothing you were paying for.

Most capsules carry flow agents and anti-caking powders that exist to make manufacturing faster — not to do anything for you. We reformulated to remove them.

  • No magnesium stearate A lubricant that keeps machinery from jamming. It isn't a nutrient.
  • No silicon dioxide An anti-caking agent added to keep powder free-flowing on the line.

Lower B6 for people over 50

So far this is working for me. I like the lower mg of B6 and that is why I purchased it. I open the capsule and drink it with water. Definitely an energy booster for me, and good for the scalp as well.

Good ratio

This was the second time I purchased this product. The strength of each vitamin is good — not too much, not too little. I like the fact that it has methylated vitamins. I took a star off for the price. I wish it weren't so expensive.

Great option for those with MTHFR

This vitamin B supplement is formulated for those with the MTHFR gene mutation that doesn't allow the proper absorption of B vitamins. This mutation leads to fatigue and a host of other symptoms from improper metabolism of the B vitamins. Methylated vitamins are required for proper absorption.

Higher quality vitamin B complex

This supplement contains both naturally occurring forms of vitamin B12: methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin. Naturally occurring B12 has the advantage of better and longer retention after absorption. Adenosylcobalamin is particularly important to supporting and protecting the mitochondria in your cells — they are like power plants in each cell, and adenosylcobalamin helps them create energy more efficiently.

Folate 5-MTHF bypasses the entire folate metabolization and is directly absorbed to exert the biological activity. Therefore 5-MTHF is considered superior to folic acid.

Made in the USA in a GMP certified facility. The capsules are easy to swallow and don't have a bad taste.

Great quality ingredients, 60 servings

Excellent full spectrum B-complex supplement, using the active (most bioavailable) forms, and the serving size is just one daily. I couldn't notice any taste. So far these agree perfectly with no side effects, and I do feel like these give me some more energy.

The vitamin B12 (700 mcg) uses two high quality active forms — adenosylcobalamin and methylcobalamin — and also includes B1 (25 mg), B2 (25 mg), niacin (15 mg), B6 (10 mg), biotin (300 mcg), folate (400 mcg), pantothenic acid (100 mg), choline (50 mg), pantethine (25 mg) and inositol (50 mg).

Overall I highly recommend. GMP facility, naturally sourced, 60 servings. Manufactured in the USA.

Finally, relief from the fatigue!

A friend clued me into this Tri-Methyl stuff that is supposed to help those of us who do not process B12 the way normal people do. I get tired instead of feeling more energy. I'm now in menopause and the fatigue can be overwhelming most days.

I'm telling you, I don't know what magic potion this stuff is, but in only 4 days I can already feel the difference. I thought day one was a fluke. But then day two, and day three. This is very unusual for me — one good day of energy usually requires a week of recovery, and this is the only thing I've done different. I feel good, feel positive, have energy. Even a few aches and pains I normally have all day long don't seem to bother me as much. I actually look forward to taking this after breakfast.

Love the natural energy boost

This supplement contains B12 methylcobalamin, adenosylcobalamin, methylfolate, as well as B1 thiamine, B2 riboflavin, niacin, B6 as P-5-P, biotin, choline and more. I love that they give me a nice, natural energy boost to get going in the morning. I feel like they help fill in the gaps in vitamins.

The recommended dose is just 1 capsule a day, and each 60ct bottle is a 2-month supply, which makes them a good value. They are odorless and flavorless. I can take the capsule on an empty stomach before I head to work and not experience any negative side effects, which is great.

Great full-spectrum B vitamin supplement

Riboflavin is needed to help the body change vitamin B6 and folate into forms it can use, and it's important for growth and red blood cell production. In addition to producing energy, riboflavin works as an antioxidant.

Biotin is involved in a wide range of metabolic processes, primarily related to the utilization of fats, carbohydrates and amino acids. Biotin deficiency can cause thinning of the hair.

This is a great formula with many other great vitamins, offering 60 servings, and it is produced in the USA at a GMP-certified facility.

High quality B complex supplement

This is an excellent vitamin B complex supplement. Many supplements are more or less bioavailable depending on the exact chemical form of the vitamin, and the better, more bioavailable forms are generally more costly. This B complex has the good stuff. It's manufactured in the USA in a GMP facility, and the bottle I received had a very long shelf life.

Mostly good

B vitamins are very important to my health due to a genetic issue. I take bioactive B12 and methylfolate every day. This product contains good maintenance doses for me.

I like that this product has methylfolate and two forms of active B12 — that's great. It has a wide range of other B's. My main complaint is with the B6: I would prefer the full 10 mg to be the active form.

I like that I just need to take 1 capsule for a dose. This complex did, for me, what good B vitamins do: I feel better, I have more energy, I think better.

Solid B vitamin supplement

This B vitamin supplement covers all the B vitamins, which some others do not. I never knew there were so many until I read the label on this. There is one capsule to a dose, which makes this a 60 day supply. It is made in a GMP facility and in the USA, which is a huge bonus. Taking these I didn't get any bad side effects and generally felt better. Worth a try if you're in the market for a B supplement.

Perhaps a step up

I'm always on the lookout for better vitamins, mostly meaning more absorptive and available for use by the body. I find these capsules easy to swallow, and I like that the supplement facts recommend only one capsule per day as sufficient. Methylated vitamin B is a more complete form and more easily metabolized by the body, so I decided to give these a try.

Methylated folate and B

This product combines methylated folate and B vitamins, potentially allowing those recommended to supplement for MTHFR support to take one capsule instead of individual doses. Could be a helpful alternative if the amount of each inclusion is comparable to what you normally take. I didn't notice any taste and had no issues swallowing. Didn't experience negative impacts.

Questions people ask first

What makes a "methylated" B complex different?

Methylated means the vitamins arrive in the form your body actually uses, rather than a synthetic precursor it has to convert first. Tri-Methyl+ uses methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin instead of cyanocobalamin, and methylfolate (5-MTHF) instead of folic acid.

Do I need to know whether I have an MTHFR variant?

No. The formula is built on active forms, which work whether or not you carry a variant — the difference is that people who do carry one tend to notice more, because the synthetic forms were doing less for them to begin with. If you're unsure, your healthcare provider can order the test.

How do I take it?

One capsule daily, with or without food. Most people take it in the morning with breakfast. Each bottle contains 60 capsules — a two-month supply at one a day.

Why is the B6 dose low?

Because B6 is a nutrient where more isn't better, and some people are sensitive to high amounts. We use the active P-5-P form at a level chosen to sit in proper ratio with the rest of the formula.

How long until I notice anything?

It varies. Some customers report a difference within the first week; for others it's more gradual and shows up as steadier energy over a month or two. That's part of why the 6-bottle supply is the most popular option — and why every order is covered by the 30-day guarantee.

What's your return policy?

Contact us within 30 days for a full refund, no questions asked. We manufacture this ourselves and stand behind every bottle.
